Pros: Fully equipped small apartment very near Fuzhounan Station. Lots of stores and cafes around the building and a small night market not far away. Very clean. Good value for money. Includes a washing machine. Cons: Bed is unnecessarily hard. The fridge is broken. The room number on Trip.com is wrong. It's 803. There's no front desk. I had to ask a neighbor to phone up as I don't speak Chinese. The guy who eventually turned up acted as if I was putting him out.

The apartment is very close to the Fuzhou South Railway Station. There is a plaza with plethora of restajurants, Starbucks and convenience stores. Apartment is fine, but two apartments share one main entrance door. Service is smooth. The owner is helpful.

It’s so convenient to live in Ximending! It’s easy to go anywhere in Fuzhou with the subway! There is a kitchen in the room and a washing machine in the bathroom. Just go through the underpass to the high-speed rail station!

In the high-rise building opposite the West Square road south of the railway station, you need to use the underground passage to cross the road. A quick 5-minute walk to the building's downstairs. The boss upgraded me to a better room, saying that the original tatami room had no windows. The actual room we stayed in was fully equipped with toiletries, the water temperature and water pressure of the dedicated water heater were sufficient, the fluffy quilt was warm in the winter, and there was enough light. There are also various night-time food stalls at the exit of the underground passage, and various convenience stores and restaurants in the community downstairs. Areas that need improvement include raising the washing machine and covering it with a waterproof cover for electrical safety. The beam directly above the window is very low and needs a soft bag to prevent head bumps. The shower head with special pressurized function has a special gear that sprays water directly upward with high pressure. If the guest operates it by mistake, water will spray onto the roof. It is recommended to replace it with a normal pressurized shower head.
